The mandatory customs in Thailand

The mandatory customs in Thailand

I have been stalling blog posting seeing my blog’s hits jumping everyday. But that’s due to one dramacrazy post only and that is not fair. Not that I’m not happy but at least see other things too.

I have prepared a lot of posts already which need some work, and for that, I’m not finding time.

On other note, I have shifted to other accommodation from the flat I was living in earlier. The flat was too big for me and now this one bedroom home is suiting me a lot. It has got everything I wanted.

So, in this post, I’ll tell you about some customs followed in Thailand which I’ve learnt till now. Before coming here, I read a lot about dos and don’ts in Thailand on web. Being a girl, you have to take care of clothes too. Anything can offend the people of other cultures. So what I read about clothes were these – Try not to wear sleeveless. If you wear one, keep something to cover the upper portion with you, especially when going to temples. Then, Thai people don’t like girls to expose their legs, even a little bit. There were other many things which I’ll keep comparing with what I’ve actually seen (if I remember some).

So first of all, don’t point your feet towards anything, ever. I don’t exactly know the logic behind this but you can’t even sit on chair with your one leg over the other one, a sitting position which Indians like a lot. And trust me, this one is quite difficult (at least for me). About this, I was informed on the very first day when I met the coordinator of our training programme. I even noticed it on TV. Digimon’s last season – Xros Wars was going on (it was Thai dubbed) and whenever there was a kick, they would blur the feet part. It seems that they consider it very rude and insulting.

Next is, never ever keep your hand over someone’s head especially elder people. They take it as you challenging their brain or something like that. This is a total no no.

These were the only two things which we were warned about. Now about clothes, not only they have no problem with girls wearing shorts or half pants, Thai girls themselves wear such clothes. I haven’t gone out much, only one place. But there too, I saw girls wearing quite short length shorts or whatever they are called (excuse my lack of knowledge in this field, please). Yeah, you shouldn’t wear skirts, they offend them but even then, no one would say anything to you. Temples may be a bit stricter in this regard. You need something to cover your upper part if you have tank tops or tops with very thin straps (although definition for “thin” varies for everyone, but I guess, you got the idea). And for lower part, anything above knees is not allowed in the temples, that’s what I have heard (no, I asked my Thai mentor about it). I don’t know anything about socks (if you read some weird thing about people not being fond of socks). Yesterday, we went to two different Buddha temples where me as well as some Thai girls were wearing socks (obviously, we went directly from the company and we have to wear safety shoes). It was a new experience too.

Well today is Sunday and we are not going out anywhere, so I’m thinking of completing my pending works. I sooo wanted to go out but we haven’t received our insurance. Not that I can’t go without it but our sir is very particular about it. He doesn’t want to take any risk and it actually is alright. I would be able to relax and watch some more dramas.

And I’m into rock right now and liking this song very much –

Then I shall take my leave for today. See you soon!

And Dramacrazy is back after one week of drama!

And Dramacrazy is back after one week of drama!

(Read the edited part below the video for sure before jumping to the site)

Yay! Yay! Yay! It is back. Yes my dear drama lovers.

Same interface, same huge collection (no, not same, but it’s still big, some things may have, as well, been lost), a lot of things same same. Check this out! (Almost sang it like they do in English movies) – http://dramacrazy.eu.

What is new you ask? The rankings! All I can see are Korean Dramas in their rankings. But oh well, it may take some time to be put up properly. We can understand. Just keep up your good work people. I am so happy that I’m gonna cry (just an exaggeration, I’m not that sentimental, you understand, right?).

And such a title you say? Obviously, why to cause all that drama when they were going to put it back again? They could’ve told us to wait for one week. Giving shocks like that!

Lol! And their server just went down because there are too many visitors. Anyways, I’ll just share this good news today 🙂

Happy Drama watching!

And on this happy occasion, today’s song is –

Edit – 12 July 2013 – Alright, I have to say this. I was pretty excited yesterday and wanted to tell the news to everyone. Now I have read a lot and seen the site properly too, there is a lot of difference – good and bad. Good – there are no ads (till now, touchwood). Earlier, whenever I clicked any link, an ad would pop up. Now, there is none. But this makes one wonder, how will they host the site for free then? Bad- there is no Speedy Joe. That can be attributed to the fact that the site has recently come up. But there is pretty much one mirror only.

When you check the FB page of Dramacrazy (.net one), they say, everything else with similar format is fake and even claim that these fake ones have virus/ are spyware infected. Dramacrazy.eu people say, it is the same. Don’t know, what to believe. I think I’ll wait for sometime and see if the new ones are able to bring back everything. In the mean time, we have gooddrama. (I had to post this because all traffic I’m getting on my blog right now, is on two Dramcrazy posts only. So wanted to clarify this.)

Update – 24th July 2013 – Finally, the original dramacrazy’s people have once again stated clearly that the new one is a fake. Seriously! Why all his drama? People have moved on. As for myself, I haven’t gone on new dramacrazy ever since, though I said I would wait.

Finally these are the words posted on their fb page – ” Just to clarify one more time since more and more people seem to think that we have come back on another domain. We have NOT (unfortunately). Any other site with our design/similar domain name is a FAKE! They are just a cheap imitation attempting to mislead our users. This goes for both Animecrazy and DramaCrazy. Like mentioned before, they are not us and are virus/malware infected. Avoid them at all costs.

Please Share/Tweet/ spread the (bad) news. Thanks.”

Now it’s up to you to visit new website or not. I’m done here.

My mentor in college life – My roomie

My mentor in college life – My roomie

Although I love anonymity but I finally told my roommate about my blog, today. She was so impressed by it that she became senti,  and has read all the posts in one day(I know, I’m amazing. Thank you Thank you).

She has seen me grow from my first year (This was one of her lines in today’s chat with her) and I have seen her too (Alright, I accept. The change in me was way bigger). So I’m gonna bitch about her today (Ooh, I was dying to do so).

In our college, in first year, students get double rooms. We are both from the same region so we should have been fine with each other. But as I mentioned earlier, I am a socially inert person and like to be alone and work alone. Last two years before entering my college, I had worked alone only – my study room was my whole world. In the college, it took me two years to open up with people around and I think this hurt her the most. I talked very less to her. I had an inferior complex and she used to talk to other people more. (Okay, I am not making excuses and I am coming to my mistakes too!). And she and my other current friends seemed to be from a totally different world (Even now, when my sister sees my pics with my friends, she says I look like a country bumpkin T_T and here I thought I had changed for good). They had different habits, different styles and a lot of knowledge about worldly ways (which I didn’t have “initially”). And her habit of reading out loud! That I can never forget. Although I could never say to her, even after her asking me again and again, I did have problem with that. And that sometimes enraged me so much that I would go in the room of some other girls I had made friends with, at that time. How sad would that have made her. Oh God, how much did I make her suffer? Now, when I am writing this, I am realizing.

My biggest mistake was I didn’t even try to talk it out. I am one of those who keep things inside until it becomes a volcano ready to be erupted at any time, any place on anyone. But now I have been given a chance, I apologize for that. I don’t think, I would be able to tell you this directly, ever (And no discussions on this after whenever you read this, alright? It’s embarrassing!)

And then come the good days. The things I learnt from my friends, she has the biggest part in that – from about boys and boyfriends to curse words (and things which can’t be told 😛). Her influence totally changed me. She was the one, with two others in my circle who took me to the beauty salon, for the first time in my life, for things other than haircut, in my third year of college (Yes, third year OF COLLEGE, that too was almost end of it) verrrrry forcefully, since I am not particularly interested in make-ups and all. I don’t think I would have even given it a second thought if they hadn’t been with me (This is really becoming something but now I have started confessing then let’s see it through the end).

What else? Ah! She knows every habit of mine. She never, even once, complained about my love for East Asia. Rather she helped it grow. She had to bear with the Japanese songs (She even learnt some lyrics including OSTs of Cardcaptor Sakura 😛) and anime all the time. If she had stopped me at that time, I don’t think I would have discovered my real passion for east Asia. She knows the secrets even my sister doesn’t know (not that I have that many but you do need that one person in your life apart from your sibling and boy/girlfriend). And “boyfriend” reminds me, she desperately wants me to have a boyfriend. She still keeps asking me, if I have made one yet. (Haha! That is never gonna happen my darling.)

This post, I dedicate to my bestie. I know you’re reading this (Obviously, I’m the one who gave you the link). In the end, I would only like to say thank you for being in my life.

And I think this song would suit here:

Dramacrazy is shutting down!! TT_TT

Dramacrazy is shutting down!! TT_TT

Why? Why? Why? Please someone tell me it’s some kind of joke! July fool?

It was the first site to introduce me to the fantabulous world of dramas. Oh nooooo, what will I do? The user friendly interface, a lot of mirrors available, and a great collection of dramas from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, all went to waste. And unfortunately, I was one of the last people to know about it. Sigh! They were so regular and so fast, that the subbed episodes would be uploaded, the next day of their release. Of course, they were subbed by others but it was one place where I could find unknown dramas as well as some of the greatest variety shows. Now, I’ll have to find another site like this. But once you get habitual to something, it’s quite difficult to change it. TT_TT

But, I still don’t understand. They didn’t even give any reason. Was it some licensing problem? Or something else? But whatever it was, it certainly left the fans disappointed and sad.

This being said, all the links for dramas, I have provided, are from that site only. So, I’ll try to find out other site and post all the links again in the respective posts.

See you next time!

A new beginning?

A new beginning?

Hey all,
It’s been a while since I have posted something. I was busy shopping and packing for Thailand. Now I have finally reached here and I am sooooo very happy. Obviously, it’s south EAST ASIA (nevermind south, “east” is enough for me 😉)

It doesn’t feel like a foreign country. There are a lot of Indian families here. Language is becoming a little problem though, the English pronunciation of Thai people is very different. But they all are very nice and are teaching me the language. Today only, I got a lot of homework for my language lessons. To tell you the truth, even if I know the phrases very well, it’s still awkward, somehow, to greet them in their language. But they are very supporting in this regard. When I speak some phrase, they laugh, get elated on my attempt and then correct me. It’s a fun procedure – not to dig into internet or mobile apps but rather learn from native speakers. Ah! My lifelong dream is coming true!

My trainer is very enthusiastic and sweet lady and is very excited to have us (me and one other batchmate) as trainees under her. Also, I am the first girl from our college here. Hehe, feels so great!

So, they have provided me with a nice accommodation, a fully furnished flat just for me (I may have roommates in future but right now it’s only mine, MINE!). There is an AC car to take us everyday to and fro (till now. Soon we’ll get our cycles and that’s good since I don’t like special treatments). And, there is proper veg Indian food (lucky no?). But with facilities comes responsibility (Is that even a quote?) – responsibility of behaving properly (I am very good at that) and excelling at work. That means, even if I screwed up my acads, I have to perform well here (oh well, this is only chance left to increase my CGPA).

The most amusing thing is that even if I am a shy person I am trying to communicate with people (Thai only, I still can’t bring myself to talk to seniors, oops, they are my batchmates only, from India. I keep repeating in my head what to say but by the time I gather courage to speak, they are nowhere to be found!). Even so, I am surprising myself!
Oh! Oh! And the awesome internet speed! The speed which my laptop shows here is 1GBps! I told my friends and they were like “OMG” and “Holy Shit!” (In India the speed shown is 100MBps and it’s far lower than that). I wonder when I go back to India, if I’ll keep cursing the Indian speeds. Now my only two problems are:
– Where is the dustbin?
– Windows 8, why did you take this awesome thing called wi-fi from my laptop away? Now the only choice left for me is to access net on my phone TT_TT . But these are solvable (Phew!)

And the two things I am excited about are:
-K-pop concerts (if any happens during my stay here and the ticket is within my limits)
-AnimeCons ( I hope I get enough info on time)

I’ll keep posting about my stay here at Thailand and show you places where I’ll go (I’m not trying to turn this into a travel blog but I would like to show you Thailand from my perspective). A lot of pics are on their way……

I think I have written enough for now. Recommendations about concerts, conventions and places, which are a must see but not mentioned in books and not known by many people, are most welcome.

See you soon with another story!

PS – Pardon the mistakes, I am posting this from my phone.

Edit: 06 July 2013 : Alright, I got net in my laptop for the first time in about 2 months. And because I’m happy, I’ll post this happy happy song :

K-drama Review: Musical High School Drama – Monstar

K-drama Review: Musical High School Drama – Monstar

I love high school teen dramas. May be because what happens there cannot happen in real school life (or may be it can but not here in India……at least did not happen when I was in high school…….don’t know about now)

Ok, so Monstar is about some teenagers, who try to repair the bonds with people around them, severed through time, due to one different situation or other, and find solace, through music and new found friendship (Phew! That was long!). The story basically goes like this – Yoon Seol Chan (Yong Jun Hyung) is part of an idol group Men In Black. Due to some rumors and a big scandal, the president of his company asks him to become an ideal student in his school in three months and then return back to the industry. Now everyday is a new challenge for him amidst his mad fangirls, his old friend, now a rival Jung Sun Woo and a new transfer student Min Se Yi (Ha Yeon Soo). Se Yi has come from New Zealand after having a fight with her mother. Now she is living with her homeroom teacher in her own house. Her father was a singer when alive and she has inherited great voice and guitar skills from him. Sun Woo (Kang Ha Neul) is their class president and plays cello in school orchestra, All in One. He has been classmate with Se Yi before she went to New Zealand.  Then there are other four students – a bully, a bullied, a delinquent and a diehard fan of Seol Chan, all of who have had difficult pasts. These seven students have to come together to perform for school due to some circumstances. Will they succeed in their performance regardless of their sad memories with each other and who will Se Yi end up with, that the end will tell.

Monstar_Poster

What I know is that the series has finished halfway through. Six episodes out of twelve have already aired. The first three episodes were good. The story was progressing fast. But now it has kind of come to a standstill. They haven’t even started practicing, when will they form a proper band? Irrespective of what I feel and what I hear (I mean read on the forums), I can’t wait for next episode. That chemistry between Se Yi and Sun Woo, that way in which Sun Woo makes fun of Seol Chan, that jealous face of Seol Chan, those serious jokes of innocent and totally clueless Se Yi which even I take seriously, those girl group  dances of the bullied guy, that awesome beat boxing of the bully guy, that one reactionless dialogue of the delinquent girl “Shut Up” and the fanfic that diehard fan writes in her mind, added with petty fights between teachers and the reactions of Seol Chan’s manager and president of his company, all just make you forget every lacking point about the series. The songs they have used, add cherry (or whatever you like on yours) to the cake.

And what do I get to learn from the series? Music has power to heal anything but that is already a world known fact and true for me too!

And here is the trailer –

Manga Reco: Hira Hira (ひらひら)

Manga Reco: Hira Hira (ひらひら)

This brilliant work by Ame Arare  is an awesome collection of four stories related to “Geishas” (courtesans).

Hira hira

Hira hira itself depicts the waving sound of handkerchiefs, flags, paper etc. in Japanese. It is also associated with frilly and lacy things related to girls.

All the stories are basically historical tragedies, set in Edo period. The first story called “Strings of previous existence” tells the story of  a girl Akane who falls in love with Tadaaki, servant of a feudal lord who is frequent guest of her. What does she do to charm him when he doesn’t show any emotion towards her?

Second story, “Dream mirror”, deals with a girl Miyuki, who leaves her house for her sick younger sister Yukie. Her family is not well enough to continue Yukie’s medical treatment. So she becomes a courtesan to earn easy money. But what happens when she receives a letter saying Yukie is getting married when she doesn’t find herself in a condition to show herself to everyone?

Third story, “Jade’s bird” is about Hisui, a girl who has been raised by Shinza Emon, a person of great authority and post. Hisui grows up to become a courtesan under his supervision and falls in love with him. But Shinza gets engaged to daughter of some feudal lord. Does he realize his feelings towards Hisui?

In the fourth and the last story, “Flower Lantern”, Hotaru is someone who doesn’t get many customers. One of her frequent customers is Shigezou, a flower seller. Hotaru snaps after an ex-customer of her, insults her in  front of younger ones. How does Shigezou help her? Is he really coming for her or is there some other reason?

Find out here: http://www.mangahere.com/manga/hira_hira/

In terms of art i’ll give this manga 4.5/5, stories 4/5 and emotions 5/5. This manga shows you that these girls are not just selling their body for fun. They may have circumstances which compel them to do such work just like present world. People have to do something to fill their stomachs, sometimes unbelievable. You and me are in far better off place than many others. And it teaches that they have emotions too. They are human beings after all (I’m writing this particular sentence, a lot lately….. Obviously, some people are being treated like animals, some worse than that and some, who don’t even deserve it, are being treated as Gods. No one is being seen as human being…..that brings me to the question…. what is a human being…….. but this is becoming too philosophical……… no offense to anyone!)

Oh well, this was my first manga review and I chose tragedy for that, I don’t know why. But oh well!

Random Fandrawings Post 1

Random Fandrawings Post 1

Well, I don’t have much to post today, so I decided to post some random fandrawings of mine. Here are two of them:

This one is from manga called School Days (chapter 6 page 14). I don’t remember the story though. I drew this because I liked the Kimono (in this case actually Yukata since they wear Yukatas when going to festivals) very much.

This is from Hana wa knife o mi ni matou (ch-01 pg-06). I totally fell in love with her eyes and hence drew her.

Yay! Liebster Award!

Yay! Liebster Award!

Quite blessed I am! I never thought I would get nominated for such an award. Heck! I didn’t even know such a thing existed. So I am very very grateful to A Splash of Inspiration for providing me this opportunity (Yeah yeah, I think it just got a little formal but I am actually really thankful). It sure makes you feel beloved as its name says.

My sister laughed when I was going through the post and told my mum that something like this was going on. I was happy just being acknowledged. (I had been nominated by my friends as the biggest anime/manga freak on my college’s campus, the previous week, in a question asked on facebook) And everytime, I would smile on some new comment on my posts, she would tease me.

If you want to know more about the award, please refer to this post. But let me put the rules here:

  • Make a list of 11 Random Facts about yourself.
  • Answer the Questions that your nominator gave.
  • Nominate at least 5 more blogs for the award
    • Only nominate blogs that have under 200 followers.
    • Obviously let those blogs know that they’ve been nominated.
    • You can’t tag back bloggers.
  • Come up with at least 5 questions for your nominees.
  • Post the badge on your site.

(Source – A Splash of Inspiration)

As for thank you to my readers and visitors, I put another post today which I had prepared long time ago.

I don’t know what else to write here so I’ll get started with the ceremony or ritual of completing the tasks allotted.

11 random facts about me:

It’s really difficult to come up with such things but here are some facts about me

  1. I am very lazy –I am just like the main character of Hyouka – who thinks being lazy is conserving one’s energy and not actually “being lazy”. I don’t do any work until and unless, I’m told to or there is a hard deadline with severe punishment and this has been a lot of times, a cause of me getting scolded.
  2. I don’t like to study – But who does? The main thing here is (not bragging……may be a little) that I have always been among top three during my school time. I also cracked all the entrance exams (some of them are considered to be very tough), I sat for, after my high school. But after I joined college, I got involved in anime watching and manga reading so much that I almost left my studies. I don’t find studying interesting. I like to learn things by applying them practically. I have always wanted to say this. Now I feel less burdensome.
  3. At present, I am trying to learn four very similar languages – Yes, I know I am a fool but the three out of four (Manadarin, Japanese, Korean) were so similar that I actually thought learning one would help me grasp others faster and hence, I took up all. Now fourth (Thai) I have to learn out of necessity as I am soon going there. I ended up learning nothing but still I am not ready to give up.
  4. I hate Indian dramas – Being an Indian, I should not say this but the main reason I went to J and K dramas is because they have a defined story and get completed in limited no. of episodes. In India, dramas keep going on for like years with generations, doppelgangers, a lot of plastic surgeries and what not! Although there is a fad here, that Indian serials are for aunties but the series targeting the youth are no better. But that may be my opinion only.
  5. I am socially inert person – Not a very random fact but yes, I don’t like to socialize. That’s why I feel comfortable in talking through chats. Irony is, I do like to make friends with total strangers especially if they are from different country but in a crowd of people, known or unknown, I feel uncomfortable
  6. I start hating guys if I meet them more than a few times or talk to them very frequently– I sometimes laugh at this one but it’s true. There have been a very few exceptions, may be one or two. If someone keeps pinging me on facebook or gtalk and keeps chatting with me (even if it is due to work) or I get to meet a particular guy very often due to gatherings and all, I develop aversion towards the person. Or if a person shows over kindness or friendliness when I am not acknowledging his help. I am not talking about only the flirt kinds but the general too.
  7. I have been called a kiddo all my life because my friends thought I couldn’t understand what they were talking about – Hehe. It’s a kind of confession but sorry friends. If any of you is reading this, I did understand everything, every damn thing, be it adult talk or whatever. Only, wasn’t too sure if I was deducing the meaning correctly and I was right most of the times.
  8. I don’t like to make people wait – Contrary to what is generally believed here that if you reach a place at time, it decreases your importance, I rather prefer to reach the place five minutes early.
  9. I am an attention seeker – I hate to admit, but I like people’s attention (please…..not in a bad way!!). But that should be due to my achievements and not due to anything physical. That’s why, I used to work my ass off in my school trying to shine in those areas too which were not my cup of tea. But oh well! Everyone gets to know their limits.
  10. I can’t look in people’s eyes – Though very important for communication, I can’t do it no matter what! And I haven’t been able to find a concrete reason for avoiding eye contact with people.
  11. I am very bad at remembering people’s faces – The above point is the reason for that but I had to make them two, because I am not getting any more points right now. My friends do ask me, how can I not remember faces of Indian people but immediately get to learn Korean and Japanese people’s faces (which, to them, seem same same). My problem is genuine and for every human being. Just that when I get crazy over a group, I get really crazy, upto the point that I tend to finish all the dramas and reality shows, they have been cast in.

Questions asked by the nominator:

  1. If you could blog about anything else in the world, what would it be and why? – I don’t think, I would have started the blog if it wasn’t for this. Even this blog was started because I got frustrated with people asking me same questions again and again. But, if, if it was an absolute necessity, then maybe something about ………….. I seriously can’t think of myself writing on any topic except this even after one day. So, yup, I wouldn’t have started blogging.
  2. How did you initially get interested in the topic that you blog about? (For K-drama/K-pop people, how did you come across those things in the first place?) – This question I have already answered in my first ever post. Please feel free to refer here. Specifically speaking, Hana Yori Dango was my start for search of dramas. The anime being very old, I couldn’t find it and the streams available did not work in my college (there were a lot of restrictions on internet especially videos at that time). Then I saw Boys Over Flowers and it all started. Though my first drama was Dae Jang Geum but it didn’t arouse my interest in other things that much. After Boys Over Flowers, I became a huge fan of K and J dramas and the OSTs took me to the world of K-pop (J-pop, I was listening earlier too due to anime)
  3. Sike! That URL is taken and your site’s name is copyrighted.  Now you have to change your site’s name and web address. What will it be and why? – A difficult one. I had tried this name hundreds of times on different search engines before putting it down. Hmmm…. Another name. May be “My Name Was Taken” (just kidding) or “My addiction to East Asia” something like that? I mean, it would be just adjustment with words, meaning would have been same.
  4. This is your last post ever. What would you address in it? – If this ever happens, my last post would be ‘How I actually got to marry an East Asian guy and how I led my life after that’. Wah! That would be dream come true. On a realistic note, my last post would be giving suggestions to future East Asian lovers about what I am planning to do, if it’s present and what I did, if it is future, to increase the awareness about this amazing world of anime, dramas and pop culture among others around me.
  5. You have to pick one specific topic (it can’t be too general like “movies”) to blog about for an entire month. What topic would you choose and why did you choose it? (Try to stay within the confines of what you currently blog about.) –  The moment I saw the question, only one name flashed through my mind and that was Super Junior. I first got introduced to SM Groups through Shinee’s OST for Boys Over Flowers. After that when I saw Super Junior, I finished almost everything I could, their songs, MVs, making of MVs, their dramas, their reality shows and even their performances on Music Bank and award ceremonies….. whatever I got subbed in English. Even if there was only one member in any series or episode, I have tried to cover everything. Yup, so I think I have a lot of material to talk about them.

My five questions:

  1. What is one sure shot thing according to you, which can help, at least, to incline other people’s interest towards your interest (K-pop, J-pop, anime, drama etc. etc.)?
  2. You want to open a club related to East Asian culture specifically related to dramas, anime manga in your school. How will you convince your very strict principal who doesn’t believe in anything else other than studies and for him, it’s all waste of time?
  3. The world is about to end. What is the first thing that comes to your mind reading the sentence related to your interest and what might be the reason for that?
  4. What is that one thing you find very difficult to explain people related to your interest other than why are you interested at all?
  5. Why did you start taking interest in your field (related to your blog)? Is there any particular reason or you just began casually and your interest just grew?

The bloggers I want to nominate:

  1. Be Unique
  2. 自分自身に忠実である
  3. P-Chan’s Delicious Drama Reviews
  4. Fresh Korean
  5. Korealignments

PS – This post is too long for me to review so i would like to apologize for the mistakes grammatical or otherwise.

Thank You :-)

Thank You :-)

Man! The comments are real motivators. Since I’m new in blogging area, I didn’t know about spam comments until recently. All the comments of people who weren’t bloggers but commented otherwise were flagged as spam. I got to read them sometime back and almost cried seeing the response of people. I mean, I don’t have very good writing skills. I jump from one thing to another in one post only. I don’t have very good vocab either. All in all, I write in simple English (err…..that is a good thing, isn’t it?) I just wanted to meet people with same interests as mine.

This world which I have formed around me is totally different. I get to hear a lot due to my interests. “Why there?”, “What will you do learning these languages, why not try some European lang?”, “They are like this, like that”, “You would never get veg food there (since I’m a vegetarian….. did I tell you that?)” and what not. But that’s my choice. I like the cultures, the languages and the people. (Not that I’ve met any but anyways) And that’s why I write.

Oops! I again deviated from the topic. The main reason for this post is to thank all the people who have shown interest in my blog. Thank you very much and please keep guiding me in the future to do my best. (Is this a little early? Should have I posted this when I got like 100+ followers? Nah…… It’s never too early to appreciate support from people, is it?) Looking forward to more followers and commenters 😛

Here is a new song:
